Wedding Gown Alterations

It all begins with you! I want to know what your concerns are, the fit you are going for, and the look you want to create. For your appointment you will need to bring your shoes and any undergarments you plan on wearing. Additionally you may bring your jewelry, veil and other headpieces.

It is recommended that Brides have their first appointment at least 3 months before the wedding day. You are free to start before the three month mark as long as you don’t plan to lose or gain weight. Some alterations and custom work will need to start before the 3 months, if you are unsure about your alterations, please feel free to contact me and I can direct you on the appropriate time to begin.

I will go through the entire process with you, from straps to bustle. After you have been fitted we will go through what you would like to have altered on your dress and fill out the contract. We should know the total by the end of your appointment and I ask that Brides be prepared to put down at least a 50% deposit so we can start the work.

The shop is a dedicated alterations space, located in Historic Downtown West Bend. It is a smoke and pet free building. We are fully insured and your gown will never leave the building once it is here.  

Bridal Party

We can take care of your entire wedding party right here. Bridesmaids, Mothers, flower girls, ring bearers, groomsmen, Grooms, and Fathers.

It is recommended that you start your alterations 4-6 weeks before the wedding date. Children may need to come in closer to the wedding date to accommodate growth spirts.

Please bring your shoes and undergarments with you to the fitting.  

Everyday Alterations

Hemming - Jeans, Pants, Dresses, Skirts, Shirts.

Zippers - Repair or Replace. You may also bring in your own zipper. I can order zippers to match as well.

Repairs- Buttons, holes, broken seams, mending, and much, much more.

Take in- sleeves, sides, waist.

Custom Projects

We would love to work with you to create your custom project.

Curtains - we can hem your existing or make you brand new curtains

T-Shirt quilts - most quilts will need between 20-30 shirts. We can customize everything on the quilt to your tastes.

Memory Bears/Pillows - I would love to help you forever remember a loved one by using their clothes to create these memory bears and pillows.

Embroidery - we do some small scale embroidery to add some personalization to your projects.
